Summer Time Rocks..
Smoke is the first collaboration between accomplished Mumbai composers, producers and musicians Ashu and Dhruv; the result is their studio album Smoke Signals, a twisted, futuristic vision of India in different languages. Traversing time and space, each song on the album is a political and sociological statement with individual poems to match.
The album successfully brings together styles as varied as Western symphonic, bebop, Indian classical, electronica and blues, the natural result of each partner’s Western and Indian classical music roots.
Ashu and Dhruv, as they are commonly known in the industry. have scored many successful films including “Bombay Boys” and “White Noise”, and are now making forays into international film with the soundtrack for “Broken Thread”. They have also scored various television channel identities including those for Star News, Sony Max, MTV, the BBC and also the show Nach Baliye.
