Icarus Rising

Do you know that feeling....the slow rise to the surface.... The gentle tug of the moon's gravity as it pulls you to the shore.

The way pressure increases in your chest and the body feels like lead weighed down by enormous forces pinning you under as if you were drowning...

As if the soul which had been wrenched from you returns from some far ..distant voyage ..... laden with care and troubles galore... a heavy heart beating a furious tattoo in your chest........

The constant craving and silent wailing...

Being outside looking into the self....

When the world is colored by all your woes and happiness is a distant shore which is always just out of reach...as you thrash about trying to get closer and it draws ever distant... all you grasp is thin air.....

Such has become my reality and it's extremely surreal

There is depth in this surreal flight...

Real or virtual, one must have a fall to honour the destiny and a rise to validate it....
Be it a journey from Crete or an ordinary walk in life, it gets sustained through years of human experiences.
I love the way the music rolls on to accompany a soulful dirge !
Truly enjoyed a newer face of the hermit !
